May 2024 Kickoff Run

This month has proven to be a great monthand are on track for a spectacular season! It has been fantastic working closely with our vendors for some really exciting events across the Puget Sound region.

Magic the Gathering Pro Tour came through the Seattle Convention Center and that was a treat. Featuring multiple sets across a large stage, this proved to be a complex and exciting opportunity. As a key grips working with the electrics department, we worked with production to establish important camera based site-line decisions, worked with lighting department peers to create efficient programming workflow, and ensured proper fixture focus and functionality. The crews from Reaction AV, PRG, TNDV Productions, IATSE 15, and all the other vendors brought out their best to give Wizards of the Coast a great stage for their tournament.

Mobile staging season is stepping into the season with some great shows at University of Washington, as well as working with the Bel-Red Arts district to open the new Bel-Red Station along the new light rail. Working closely with Morgan Sound Inc. these events always feature top-line audio with other local audio engineers. Next up comes Bacon Eggs and Kegs, a hometown favorite. This features some of the best food and beer in town at Lumen Field. We will be headed out to Idaho for an state-line event, along with the family for some get-away fun. Be sure to subscribe to check out the updates from those trips.

It’s been a busy month of training, as well. As always, learning and gaining experience is part of our core values. We’ve been busy mixing various sources to work on providing the best mix you could ask for. Reach out to talk about working on your project today! We have also been working with local and national providers to expand our knowledge base and experience. We are particularly excited to attend the Rohde & Schwarz Seminar on RF Fundamentals.
